Article 1.

FLASOG considers that its Affiliated and Associated members comply with numeral 3 of Art. 9 of the Statute, when they carry out regular scientific activity with the following conditions:

  1. Regime of academic sessions (Congresses and / or National Days) in pre-fixed sequence.
  2. Regular publication, in a magazine, bulletin, or electronic medium dedicated exclusively or partially to the specialty, of the papers presented in its scientific sessions.


Article 2

The procedure for the future entrance into the FLASOG of institutions that consider fulfilling the basic requirement of regular scientific activity, will be as follows:

  1. If in that country there is no Affiliated or Associated Institution to FLASOG, it will send an application to the Executive Committee, demonstrating that they meet all the conditions established in Article 9 and 10 of the Statute respectively, and must send, among other things: a copy of the Minutes of their Foundation, current Registered Statute, list of active members and relation in bibliographic style of its scientific production.
  2. If in that country there already existed a Society, Association or National Federation Affiliated or Associated, your only option will be your affiliation through it.


Article 3

Failure to comply with the provisions of the Statute or these Regulations by Affiliated or Associated Institutions to FLASOG, will determine the application of the following sanctions:

  1. Those who have stopped paying their economic contribution after the first quarter of the corresponding year, will cause a surcharge of 10% per year and if the delinquency persists for one (1) year or more, they will be suspended from their rights while the state of insolvency persists .
  2. Those that have not complied with Article 12 of the Statute and the relevant provisions of this Regulation, especially those that do not develop regular scientific activity, after a diligent investigation will be officially admonished by the Executive Committee and if these institutions are not corrected, it will request his disaffiliation at the next Meeting of the Assembly.


Article 4

For the fulfillment of the functions of FLASOG, the Directives of the Affiliated institutions will execute the following actions:

  1. Send to the Executive Committee an annual report containing:

      1.1. Updated list of the members of the board of the institution it represents, with the start and end dates

             termination of your exercise.

      1.2. Number and names of active members with their address and email

  1. Communicate about the next relevant scientific meeting in your country with mention of city, venue, date, agenda, Organizing Committee, your postal address.
  2. Promote the FLASOG Congress and the next Post-Graduate course in all its scope of action.
  3. Carry out a diligent action in order to achieve an adequate participation of the institution that represents in the Meetings of the Assembly of FLASOG, make an opportune designation of its delegates and give them a complete information on each of the points included in the agenda, etc.
  4. Manage the timely payment of the annual fee for FLASOG. In the case of non-payment after the first quarter of the corresponding year, the numeral 1 of Article 3 of this Regulation will be applied.

Sole paragraph : For Associate members, paragraph 1 of this Article does not apply


Article 5 .

Failure to comply with Article 12 of the Statute by an Affiliated or Associated institution, the Executive Committee will make all efforts to avoid disaffiliation of that institution, as long as it is corrected and complies with FLASOG, especially if it develops regular scientific activity.




Article 6 .

It is the obligation of the Executive Committee to take all measures leading to the completion and full development of the Ordinary Meeting of the FLASOG Assembly. For this you must:

  1. Make the formal announcement to each of the affiliated institutions, with the date, time and place of the Preliminary Session and the agenda for the Meeting.
  2. Send said call to the President of the Board of Directors of each affiliated institution, who must confirm receipt of it. This notification must be made at least 90 (ninety) days in advance of the completion of the same, so that the affiliated institutions have sufficient time to organize their representation.


Article 7

The Convocation to the Ordinary Meeting of the Assembly will have the following Agenda:

  1. Verify the regulatory quorum and declare the Assembly installed by the President of FLASOG
  2. Consideration and approval of the Minutes of the previous Ordinary and Extraordinary Meeting, if any.
  3. Report of the Executive Committee on its statutory functions and on the guidelines set by the Assembly that elected it and the Extraordinary Meetings of the Assembly held in its term, as well as on the resolutions that it must have taken on its own initiative.
  4. Treasurer's report on financial and administrative management.
  5. Presentation, consideration and confirmation of the Latin American Teachers
  6. Election of the new Executive Committee.
  7. Election of the affiliated institution that will be elected Headquarters and alternate Headquarters of the subsequent FLASOG Congress.
  8. Consider and ratify the next Congress Venue and its alternate Venue.
  9. Various points: when it is considered necessary to modify the annual economic quota of the affiliated institutions or for the consideration of application for affiliation and disaffiliation of institutions or when, exceptionally, the Executive Committee accepts written requests, which must be done at least with ninety (90) business days prior to the Assembly and any other topic of institutional interest that may arise during the Assembly duly seconded.


Article 8

The Convocation to Extraordinary Meeting of the Assembly will have as agenda the points determined by the organism that promoted its realization. And it will be done in accordance with the provisions of Article 21 of the Statute


Article 9 .

In advance of at least 60 days (60) continuous to the date of the preliminary session of the Ordinary Meeting of the Assembly, the Executive Committee will send to each Affiliated and Associated institution the form for it to accredit the corresponding delegates, according to the number the Statute. These forms must contain the correct identification of the delegate and will be required by the Powers Commission when presented to the Preliminary Session of the Assembly.


Article 10 .

The Preliminary Session will be installed before the start of the Meeting of the Assembly and will be held in the following order:

  1. The members of the Executive Committee will constitute the provisional board of directors.
  2. The President of the Executive Committee will designate three (3) official delegates attending affiliated institutions, to constitute the Powers Committee of the Assembly, which will have information and advice from the Secretary and the Treasurer of the Executive Committee.
  3. The Powers Commission shall examine the credentials and compliance with the Duties by the institutions that grant them, that is, the statutory, regulatory and economic obligations with FLASOG in accordance with Articles 3 of these Regulations and 12 of the Statute.
  4. The Powers Commission will inform the Assembly if the quorum indicated in numeral 1 of Art. 17 of the Statute is met and will hand in the payroll of the duly accredited Delegates.
  5. In case the required quorum is met, the Assembly will be officially constituted under the direction of the President of FLASOG, both in the Ordinary and Extraordinary Meetings. At that time, the start time will be recorded and the end of the session will be set.
  6. In case the requirements of the quorum are not met, the Executive Committee will make all the efforts to increase the number of institutions or delegates present. If after one hour (1) of the call and due to lack of quorum it is not possible to install the Assembly, the Executive Committee shall convene the Extraordinary Meeting of the Assembly, which shall be fixed for a maximum of 90 consecutive days from the date to be held. the Ordinary Meeting failed. The agenda must at least have the election of the new Executive Committee and the most important matter that is left unfulfilled.


Article 11

At the beginning of each plenary session, the Secretary of the Executive Committee will verify if the quorum requirement is met; It will require a report from the Powers Commission each time a representative requests to join the Assembly and will announce the composition of the delegations and the order of origin of the titular delegates of each affiliated institution. Likewise, it will have the obligation to indicate the number of votes necessary for the approval of motions or points and must permanently monitor the fulfillment of the quorum so that the resolutions of the Assembly have validity


Article 12

The development of the Assembly will be documented in an Act, whose preparation will be the responsibility of the Secretary. Said Minutes, once approved by the next Assembly, shall be signed by all the members of the Executive Committee and filed in the Book of "FLASOG Assembly Acts".

Paragraph one: At the beginning of the session of each Assembly, the minutes of the respective previous Meeting of the Assembly will be submitted for consideration and approval, which must have been sent sufficiently in advance to the affiliated institutions for their knowledge.

Paragraph two : At this time, the delegates present may make the corresponding objections and they must be clarified and resolved. If these objections are approved, the Secretary of the Executive Committee must make the corresponding changes.


Article 13 .

The voting in the Ordinary Meeting of the Assemblies will be made by the official delegates who are physically present and in the Extraordinary Meetings it will be done by a single duly accredited present delegate, who will represent all the votes corresponding to the affiliated institution of his / her country.




Article 14

P ara the election of the Executive Committee FLASOG nominations will be made as follows :

  1. For the candidates to occupy the position of President-Elect, the Boards of the countries of the region to which it corresponds, will postulate their candidate officially to the Executive Committee in exercise and this will send it for its revision to the Nominating Committee.
  2. For candidates to occupy the position of Vice President, the Boards of the countries of the President's region that he assumes, will officially nominate his candidate to the Executive Committee in office and this will send it for review to the Nominating Committee
  3. Candidates for Secretary and Treasurer may be proposed by any of the member institutions of FLASOG to which they belong.
  4. The previous time to present the candidate to each of the aspirated positions will be between 150 and 90 continuous days before the date of the Congress where the Ordinary Meeting of the Assembly will be held.
  5. Prior to the election of the new Executive Committee by the Assembly, the Nominating Committee will carry out an analysis of the candidates and submit their conclusions to the Executive Committee. To this end, the Nominating Committee will recognize that the applicant institution, as well as the proposed applications, have complied with the statutory and regulatory obligations of FLASOG.
  6. Failure to comply with any of these provisions will determine that the Assembly, by a simple majority of the votes of the delegates present, designates an Executive Committee composed of members of the corresponding institutions of the region in the manner established in Article 22 of the Statute.


Article 15

Of the election : in case of presenting more than two candidates for the same position, all the candidates will be voted. If none of the candidates reaches half plus one of the working votes, the procedure to be followed will be as follows: the candidate who obtained the least number of votes will be removed from the voting process and the remaining candidates will be re-elected, repeating this procedure until one of the candidates reaches half plus one of the votes.




Article 16

The Executive Committee will fulfill its duties and functions in a joint manner and within the framework specified for each position in articles 24 to 30 of the Statute.


Article 17

The Executive Committee will comply with the instructions given by the Ordinary Meeting of the Assembly that elected it and of the Extraordinary Meetings of the Assembly held during its term of office.


Article 18

The Executive Committee will keep in an orderly manner the documentation of its actions, especially the amount of income and expenditure in Treasury. Likewise, it will present a financial balance at the Ordinary and Extraordinary Meetings of the Assembly.


Article 19 .

The Executive Committee for the appointment of the Executive Director will take into account:

  1. Knowledge of the management of FLASOG.
  2. Deep understanding of the economic and academic phenomena of FLASOG.


Article 20

The Executive Committee for the designation of the Administrative Director will take into account that the candidate is distinguished by his capacity of planning, organization, execution of projects, as well as his knowledge and exercise in the Administrative area.


Article 21

The Executive Committee for the appointment of the Scientific Director will take into account that it must meet the following characteristics:

  1. Have a relevant teaching and / or research activity.
  2. Recognized scientific production.
  3. Research papers and / or publications.
  4. Possess a broad recognized authority in their field of expertise to integrate work teams made up of experts and consultants from different areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Single paragraph: Its main function will be to coordinate and ensure the good development of scientific activities of FLASOG and especially of its Congress.




Article 22 .

Within 15 days after the swearing in of the Executive Committee, its new constitution must be notified to the entities affiliated to FLASOG, as well as to the rest of the international scientific societies, especially FIGO, IFSS, FLASYM, SIAEGI, etc.


Article 23

The Executive Committee, upon initiating its management, will enter into possession of the FLASOG file and all its assets through a formal written and physical transfer by the outgoing Executive Committee. The aforementioned delivery must be registered in an Act in a period not exceeding 90 consecutive days, which must be signed by all those involved in the administrative part of the outgoing and incoming Committee.


Article 24

The outgoing Treasurer, in conjunction with the Administrative Director of its management, has the duty to physically deliver to the incoming Treasurer the assets of the Treasury, as well as the bank users with the electronic access codes of the Flasog Foundation and FLASOG if you have them, as well as the tockens, keys, bank contacts directory, inventoried checkbooks, safe keys if any and everything that facilitates the flow and continuity of the administrative management.

Paragraph one : the inventory of goods must be delivered, updated to the day of delivery.

Paragraph two : the bank reconciliation and balance of income and expenses of the transition period between the swearing-in and the formal delivery of all reports and assets must be delivered.


Article 25 .

Within 15 days following the swearing in of the Executive Committee, the registration and / or notarization of the Flasog Foundation Act must be initiated, in which the new President, Secretary and Treasurer of said Foundation are appointed. When legalizing said Act, the integration of the new Directive must be notified to all the banks in which there are accounts, thus facilitating the change of signatures.  

Sole paragraph: The Administrative Director of FLASOG will be in charge of this action immediately




   Nominating Committee

Article 26

The Nominating Committee will be responsible for receiving, visiting and evaluating the proposed cities to host the next Congress, as well as receiving and analyzing the nominations for Members of the Executive Committee. In accordance with articles 24 and 31 of the Statute will have a representative for each Region, appointed by the Executive Committee.


Article 27

The Coordinator of the Nominating Committee will be the outgoing President of FLASOG. In case of being unable to exercise said function, it will correspond to the immediately preceding President and neither can do so, it will be appointed by the Executive Committee.


Article 28 .

For the election of the headquarters of the FLASOG Congress, the Nominating Committee has the responsibility of visiting the country or countries that are running to be the Headquarters of the FLASOG Congress. After this visit, you must submit a detailed report to the Executive Committee and the Assembly, where you express your considerations regarding the visited headquarters (s).


Article 29

The postulated countries to the FLASOG Congress Headquarters must have a minimum of requirements to consider their candidacy and be evaluated, among others the following:

  1. Political, social and economic stability.
  2. Ease to obtain a visa.
  3. Adequate means of air and land communication.
  4. Promotional capacity of the Congress through travel agencies, tourism and government.
  5. Enough hotel capacity.
  6. Convention center suited to the requirements.
  7. Closed surface for commercial exhibition.
  8. Public, legal and economic security.
  9. Present the tax conditions of the country regarding the management of the ISLR, National and Municipal taxes and fees related to the realization of events, management of economic funds, rate for transfers of funds abroad, private taxes of the country upon entry and exit of funds in bank accounts of that nation. Thus, as well as fluctuation of the local currency in relation to the dollar in the last 2 years.
  10. Figure and legal status of the Society, Federation or Association affiliated to FLASOG headquarters that aims to organize the Congress, specifying if it is a non-profit registered institution or any other modality. As well as its administrative, banking, financial and personnel structure.

Paragraph one: Applications for the venue of the subsequent Congress will be received between the 240 and 180 days prior to the FLASOG Congress in which said headquarters will be decided.

Paragraph two : the cost of the visit, generated by the attendance of the members of the Nominating Committee, will be borne by the institutions visited.


Article 30

For the election of the members of the Executive Committee, the Nominating Committee will analyze if each candidate and the affiliated institution that applies for it meet the requirements and will issue a report to the Executive Committee and the Assembly. Regarding the application is specified in Article 14 of this Regulation.

Article 31

It will be directed by the Scientific Director appointed by the Executive Committee and will coordinate the academic activities of the FLASOG Congress and other academic activities of the Federation. In accordance with articles Art. 19 and 26 of the Statute will be composed of one member for each Region, appointed by the Executive Committee,

Sole paragraph: The host company will appoint the members of the local Scientific Committee.


Article 32

The Scientific Committee will fulfill its objectives carrying out among others the following functions:

  1. Structure the scientific program of the corresponding Congress, which includes:
  2. Choice of subjects to be dealt with in each of the modalities, such as: official topics, symposium,

     discussion, colloquium, conference, free exhibition, video, poster, etc.

  1. Choice of the most qualified people or teams to develop them.
  2. Distribution according to the Organizing Committee of the time allocated to scientific activities.
  3. Accept or reject free scientific contributions sent to the Organizing Committee. To fully comply with this task, they may request advice from the experts they deem appropriate.
  4. Prepare an instruction and rules for the operation of all scientific activities of the congress. For the acceptance of contributions, they will especially take into account that the topic is treated with ethical and scientific criteria.
  5. Organize post-graduate courses.


Article 33

The Local Organizing Committee of the Congress will be designated by the Headquarters institution with the approval and suggestions that the Executive Committee of FLASOG deems pertinent to do, it must coordinate the local logistics actions necessary for its proper development.


Article 34

The Scientific and Temporary Technical Committees will be created to develop the necessary strategies to resolve the situations of greatest impact in the area of ​​Obstetrics and Gynecology. There may be as many Scientific Technical Committees and Temporary Committees as the Executive Committee deems necessary to fulfill the Objectives and Duties of FLASOG. When the development of a temporary Committee demonstrates the need to be permanent, the Executive Committee will propose it to the Ordinary Assembly for discussion and voting.




Article 35

This event is the responsibility of the Executive Committee of FLASOG who will take the necessary steps to achieve norms or guidelines tending to configure a common pattern.


Article 36

The Congress will be held by FLASOG under the direction of its Executive Committee. The financial results that derive from the Congress will be distributed as follows: 70% for FLASOG and 30% for the host institution.


Article 37

They are authorities of the Congress:

  1. The Executive Committee of FLASOG.
  2. The Scientific Committee
  3. The Board of Directors of the Society Headquarters of the Congress.

Single paragraph: in the protocol acts such as the Installation Session and Closing Session, the representation of the aforementioned authorities are those that should be in the Presidium.


Article 38

The emblems of the Congress are:

  1. The official logo of the FLASOG.
  2. The official logo of the Society or Headquarters institution.
  3. The one that the Executive Committee will eventually make as the distinctive logo of the Corresponding Congress.

Single paragraph: The official stationery of the Congress will have only the logos of the FLASOG, the allusive to the Congress and the one of the Headquarters institution, besides the description of the corresponding order, date and place where the event will take place.


Article 39

Of the Congressmen:

They are congressmen federated of the Congress, the Obstetricians and / or Gynecologists who having fulfilled the requirements of inscription, belong to any of the Affiliated or Associated Societies, Associations or Federations of FLASOG.

Congress participants are those obstetricians and / or gynecologists who, having met the registration requirements, do not belong to FLASOG.

They are companions of Congress of Congress, people who attend together with Congressman and economically meet the registration requirements. These people will have a different special program.

Other health professionals : medical residents of the specialty, medical students, others.


Article 40

Only those mentioned in the previous article, duly registered and with the corresponding official documentation, may participate in the activities of the Congress.


Article 41. Inaugural Ceremony :

This session will be chaired by the President of FLASOG, in his capacity as President of the Congress, who will be accompanied by the members of the Executive Committee, the President of the Headquarters Society, the Scientific Director and the designated Guest (s) of Honor. by the Executive Committee.

Sole Paragraph : The Ceremony will be held according to the program indicated in the invitation, previously approved by the Executive Committee of FLASOG.


Article 42

Closing Ceremony and inauguration of the new Executive Committee.

This session will be chaired by the President of the acting FLASOG, the President-Elect who will take office and the President of the Host Society. The Ceremony will be held according to the program indicated in the invitation and the swearing in of the new Executive Committee will be carried out in accordance with numeral 4 of Art. 23 of the Statute.


Article 43

The scientific program will be prepared by the Scientific Committee.


Article 44

The Congress will include:

  1. Pre and / or Trans Concurrent courses.
  2. Magisterial plenary sessions.
  3. Clinical seminars or simultaneous symposia.
  4. Presentation of free works.
  5. Presentation of videos and posters.
  6. Any other type of scientific activity.

Sole paragraph: The Scientific Committee must prepare the rules to govern these activities, which will be submitted to the Executive Committee for consideration, once reviewed, discussed and approved, it will be approved by the next Congress and will become part of of this Regulation as an academic annex.


Article 45

Each academic session will have a President who will introduce the subject and the presentation of the participants and a Secretary who will supervise that the implementation of the room is adequate and will take control of the time, which will be done with the corresponding modern means.

Sole paragraph: It is mandatory to be strict in meeting the schedule.


Article 46

In order to obtain the best possible use of the post-graduate courses, they must be in accordance with the instructions for the operation of all the scientific activities of the Congress.


Article 47

It will be compulsory for all participants in the Congress to be registered and pay their corresponding fee. The official delegate to the Assembly is exempt from this obligation by the Affiliated or Associated institution, as well as the Executive Committee, Scientific Committee, Organizing Committee, Executive, Scientific and Administrative Directors.


Article 48

Protocol of Academic Events of FLASOG

The Chief of Protocol is in charge of the Secretary of the Executive Committee, who will manage the protocol agenda. So, for the acts to have the desired success and prestige, among other things, you must:

  1. Prepare the ideal environment for the development of FLASOG protocol activities.
  2. Prepare the agenda of the event in accordance with the relevant articles of this Regulation. In case of unusual or unforeseen situations, consult the opinion of the Executive Committee.
  3. Make advance notification of persons invited to the act not belonging to the Executive Committee. Especially those who have to go up to the stand in order to arrive in advance of the sessions.
  4. Attend the special guests to the act.
  5. Calling people to the podium, following the criterion of representativeness from greater to lesser importance for the structure of FLASOG activities.




Article 49

The FLASOG, is a non-profit institution, its assets as well as all the income of assets specified in Art. 33 of the Statute, will be used exclusively to fulfill its objectives and duties, being managed by a Foundation created to fulfill with them.


Article 50  

The FLASOG FOUNDATION is the legal and administrative representation of FLASOG. It is represented by the President, the Secretary and the Treasurer of the Executive Committee.

Paragraph one: The Executive Committee through the President may grant the Administrative Director a Power of Attorney to represent him in Panama or elsewhere, to perform any management that the Executive Committee deems necessary or convenient, for which it must strictly comply with the express indications that the Committee assigns in writing.

Paragraph Two : The FLASOG FOUNDATION will handle the legal and administrative commitments of FLASOG.


Article 51

The President of the Executive Committee and the FLASOG Foundation is empowered to jointly open with the Secretary and Treasurer, open and mobilize current accounts, savings accounts and other investment instruments, in banking or financial institutions in the host country. Foundation, with the funds of the same and mobilize them in the most convenient way possible.

Paragraph one : The modality in signatures in the bank accounts will be made at the discretion of the Executive Committee and will be carried out according to what is most convenient in each type of account, and must be reasoned and approved in Ordinary Meeting thereof and recording in the Minutes for institutional legal purposes and of the banking entity that requests it.

Paragraph two : The President must sign with the Treasurer (a) the prior orders for the issuance of checks for the mobilization of FLASOG Foundation funds.

Paragraph three : the aforementioned members of the Executive Committee in their capacity as Directors of the FLASOG FOUNDATION may delegate these responsibilities to the Administrative Director through a power of attorney.


Article 52

The annual ordinary quota of the Affiliated and Associated institutions must be paid to the Foundation, in a timely manner during the first quarter of each year.

Sole paragraph : The Administrative Director must pass to the Treasurer, a quarterly report of Affiliated and Associated Institutions that have paid their annual fee, specifying amount, bank discounts for said movement, number of associates reported and any other information that is of interest in this matter.


Article 53

The Administrative Director must pass to the Treasurer a quarterly report of the bank reconciliations of all the FLASOG Foundation accounts, as well as a report or statement of account of all the other financial and banking instruments owned by the Foundation.




Article 54 .

In accordance with the Sole Paragraph of Article 38 of the Statute, the procedure for the granting of per diem, lodging, transportation and other compensations, granted by FLASOG, is regulated to cover the expenses incurred during the performance of its functions, the following people:

  1. Members of the Executive Committee.
  2. Executive, Scientific and Administrative Directors.
  3. Special cases for the consideration of the Executive Committee


Article 55

It is understood as viaticum, lodging and passages, the disbursement of money, under criteria of rationality, austerity and transparency of the resources, destined to cover the expenses of support and transfer outside the habitual residence, of the people mentioned in the previous article, to whom is entrusted the ordinary or extraordinary performance of an activity FLASOG.


Article 56

Those mentioned in Article 54 will be covered the following expenses incurred when carrying out activities and officially attend on behalf of the FLASOG to Meetings, Assembly or Congresses:

  1. Ground transportation and / or airfare in economy class up to 6 hours of flight per trip, from your residence to the venue of the event, including intercity transfers. After 6 hours it will be covered in business class.
  2. Airport fee if any.
  3. Stay at the hotel during the realization of the event.
  4. The per diem for extra sustenance such as meals, taxis, etc., is set at sixty-five US dollars ($ 65) per day.

Paragraph one: Any of these concepts must be adjusted in case some public or private organization finances all or part of the expenses. Said person is obliged to notify the Executive Committee in a timely manner, who will decide whether or not to compensate the FLASOG.

Paragraph two: no other expense will be paid that is not authorized by the Executive Committee.


A rticle 57

Any other expense not foreseen in the previous articles must be analyzed by the Executive Committee, who according to the urgency or necessity will decide in each case.


Article 58

To the members of a Work Committee when they officially attend on behalf of FLASOG as Lecturers or Workshop or Course Coordinators, the cost for transportation and hotel will be covered up to a maximum of 2 nights, as well as a maximum of 3 days of specified travel expenses. in section 4 of article 56. Other compensation must be authorized by the Executive Committee


Article 59

To the Congress, the Administrative Director, Executive Director and Scientific Director, who are responsible for transport, accommodation and food for the duration of the event, should attend, if another staff is required, it will be decided at a meeting of the Executive Committee,

Sole paragraph: when any of these Directors attend another activity on behalf of the FLASOG, they may also receive transportation, per diem and hotel expenses after consideration and approval of the Executive Committee




Article 60

The Executive Committee will assume the address of the Internet page or the corresponding one , which will be available to its affiliates. You can also edit a magazine in digital or printed format according to what is most convenient. In each period, the member of the Executive Committee responsible for the web and the Editor of the Magazine will be designated when it is in operation.




Article 61

In order to deserve the honorific distinction of receiving the Master Diploma of Latin American Gynecology and Obstetrics the candidate must fulfill the following requirements:

  1. Have a relevant teaching and / or research activity, with recognized scientific production; It is also required that he has contributed to the creation of a school in Obstetrics or Gynecology.
  2. Have reached the higher levels of the teaching career, preferably of university rank. However, this will not be cause for exclusion of the candidate.
  3. Have an active participation in the National Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the field of FLASOG.
  4. The nominations will be made by the Board of Directors of the Society, Association or Federation affiliated to each country.
  5. The final selection by FLASOG will be made through the Nominating Committee and submitted to the Executive Committee who, after approval by the Assembly, will hand in the corresponding diplomas.

Paragraph one : Each Society, Association or Federation member of FLASOG may present up to a maximum of two (2) candidates that it considers for this distinction.

Paragraph Two : Each Affiliated or Associated institution of FLASOG shall send to the Coordinator of the Nominating Committee the names and resume of the candidate (s) designated by their institution, at least 180 continuous days before the date of the Ordinary Meeting of the Assembly in which they will be recognized.




Article 62

Requirements : The work to qualify for the FLASOG prize must be unpublished, carried out within a country in Latin America and comply with the following:

  1. Make it a relevant contribution to the knowledge of the specialty.
  2. Send three (3) copies of the complete work to the Scientific Committee of FLASOG, at least 120 continuous days before the Congress.


Article 63

Procedure : The Scientific Committee of the Congress will select the works worthy of being awarded, will place them in the corresponding category and will choose the winning work in each area. You can be duly advised by a jury with experts in the field. Its location within the Congress Program will be the responsibility of the Scientific Committee.


Article 64:

The prize will consist of a Diploma, Medal and an economic contribution equivalent to the cost of 5 regular registrations of the FLASOG Congress in which it is participating.

Sole paragraph : The Scientific Committee may declare the prizes void.




Article 65


To grant the endorsement by the FLASOG, the public or private institution that requests it must comply with the provisions of the Standards for evaluation and approval of AVALES which are annexed to this Regulation and may be updated when the Executive Committee considers it necessary.


Article 66

Regional Groups , Organization and Objectives

The FLASOG Regional Groups are non-profit scientific organizations, which group the Societies, Associations or Federations of Obstetrics and Gynecology affiliated to the FLASOG, of countries with some geographic vicinity, common interests in the specialty and appropriate means of communication that allow the necessary exchange between them and that are already defined in Article 8 of the current Statute.

Single paragraph : the Executive Committee is authorized to prepare its regulations.


Article 67

Other rules of operation of FLASOG

This Regulation empowers the Executive Committee to create processes for the operation of the administrative structure of FLASOG or its academic activities as long as they do not contradict the Statute and the Regulations.




Article 68

To modify, delete or add provisions to this Regulation, a motion of the Executive Committee or motion presented by at least one third of the institutions Affiliated to FLASOG, which must be included in the agenda of an Ordinary or Extraordinary Meeting of the Assembly, where pursuant to Article 42 of the Statute may be approved with a simple majority of votes present.


Article 69

What is not provided for in these Regulations may be resolved by a majority of the Executive Committee, ad referendum of the resolution of the next Ordinary or Extraordinary Meeting of the Assembly, to whose consideration the matter shall be submitted.


Article 70 .

This Regulation enters into force on Friday, September 16, 2016, the date on which it was discussed and approved unanimously by the Extraordinary Assembly of FLASOG, convened expressly for modification held in Panama City, in the rooms of the Radisson Decapolis hotel. , with the participation of the majority of Affiliated institutions, being present official delegates and observers from: Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela.
